We kept removing capabilities. I wanted to build the right ones.
As an independent school leader, I watched teachers work to keep internet-enabled devices focused on the lesson. Our IT team blocked games, social media and messaging. The workarounds kept coming.
A calculator suggested a different approach. It gives mathematics a useful, dedicated tool. I wanted the same for writing.
The student makes the decisions
Vero gives students room to plan, draft and revise. Teachers can provide a source, a planning prompt or a review checklist. The student develops the response.
Built with classrooms in mind
I’m an educator and a parent. I want children to have useful technology that serves the work we ask them to do.
Vero is in development. The next step is to learn from teachers and students in school pilots.
